What the Tide Makes

Where incoming water meets its own return, the ocean briefly organises itself into something unexpected. A central form rises from the surface, twisting upward before opening into a plume of white spray and mist above. The surrounding water shifts and catches the light in the same soft palette, turquoise deepening at the base while silver white lifts through the upper spray.

The composition holds a natural symmetry, the rising form centred within the frame, the tones balanced between shadow and illumination. The ocean making a shape it will not repeat.
