In Sequence

The Atlantic does not arrive as a single event here. It builds itself in sequence, one line following another, each rise carrying the weight of everything that came before it. From distance, the horizon appears layered rather than flat, as though the sea has been arranged in steps of movement.

Across the frame, swell lines stretch and repeat, forming a structure of rhythm and repetition. Deep green-blue water rises into white-edged contours, each band marking a different stage of energy moving toward shore. Within this system of motion, small figures appear briefly against the scale of the ocean. A tow line cuts through one of the sets, tracing a path across the surface before being absorbed back into the wider field of movement.
