Where Water Meets Light

The coastline holds a different rhythm in late light. Waves arrive and fall against the base of the cliffs, breaking into mist that drifts upward rather than disappearing. The air carries salt and movement, softened by distance and the slow shift of the day. Nothing feels fixed. Everything is in transition.

Light moves through the spray in quiet layers, turning water into atmosphere. The cliff face holds shadow on one side while the ocean opens wide on the other. Mist gathers in the air between them, catching gold as it passes through the scene, dissolving structure into something more transient. The lighthouse sits within this changing field, present but unassertive, as the ocean continues its constant return against the rocks.
