Where Light Breaks the Surface

The ocean does not present itself as a single surface. It folds, overlaps and moves in layers that are constantly forming and dissolving. In certain conditions those layers become briefly legible, the water revealing its own internal structure.

Movement spreads across the frame in fine fan-like lines shaped by current and backwash. Light travels across these shifting patterns, catching texture and revealing colour within the turbulence. Nothing sits still long enough to define its scale, yet the impression of vastness remains, carried in the density of detail and the quiet continuity of motion.
