What Light Finds

Light moves through this wave differently. The surface catches and holds it, turquoise and silver white, the water translucent enough to reveal movement within its own form. Spray lifts from the lip while the foreground ocean shifts in soft texture, the whole scene balanced between stillness and constant change.

From beach level, looking directly into the folding water, the wave becomes almost architectural. Shadow and highlight define its interior, the turquoise deepening where the water thickens and brightening where light passes cleanly through.

Some waves are simply about what light finds when it moves through water.
