Where Colour Settles

The afternoon light arrives at an angle that softens everything it touches. Along the edge of the Atlantic, rock holds its ground while water continues its quiet repetition against it. The movement is constant, but the atmosphere slows it, turning impact into rhythm and distance into tone.

Across the frame, light moves through mist and sea spray in thin shifting layers. Gold carries through the upper air while cooler violet and muted mauve settle into the shadowed water below. The contrast between these tones defines the space more than the forms themselves.
