Torres del Paine

A meeting elements; the mountains eternal, the sky fleeting - where time itself seems to inhale and exhale. With an intentional long exposure I set out to translate the raw grandeur of Torres del Paine: Jagged granite peaks rising in sudden defiance from the folded fabric of the land and above them, clouds that drift and dissolve like breath.

The real work was technical: resolving Patagonian wind, motion and exposure while keeping the integrity of the moment intact. The result is a tonal study in soft greys where the subject, the interplay of form and movement, provides the contrast rather than harsh blacks.

Within motion, stillness; within strength, a quiet truth.
