Referring to one place, one location as 'home' is sometimes hard to do, as to me 'home' is where the heart is, yes a little cliché, yet true.

Those of you who know me, will understand that my family and close friends nurture and define my heart. Alternatively, if the place that I keep all my camera gear would also qualify as home, then my unit at Currumbin would fit, as every cupboard, shelf, bench, desk and draw, and the garage is brimming with items that contribute to my photography.

There really isn't any separation for me between what some would call work and play. Photography is a lifestyle and one I chose many years ago to pursue and live to it's fullest. I'm not unique in this way, as many creatives and colleagues also know and live their lives in transit, be it at the airport or living in many new and different places they call 'home'.

So, whilst paying attention to the locals lack of driving skills, I noticed this billboard en route coming 'home' from the Brisbane airport heading South along the Gold Coast Highway at Palm Beach. It's always a good feeling to be able to share the view through my lens, especially from the channel at Teahupoo.
