UNDERWATER FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER Ted Grambeau takes you on a journey where not many photographers dare to go. You would assume a natural connection with water and swimwear photography but have you ever considered the endless possibilities for lingerie and fashion photography to be taken to a whole new level - underwater?
For those of you who are new to Ted Grambeau Photography – I'm a freelance Professional Photographer and travel this planet full time in the relentless pursuit of light. I've been doing it for more than 30 years, it's my 24/7 day job, my passion, my interest and my life. I seek out extreme locations, explore, uncover, experience, and document moments through my lens. I love to take photos and have a damn good time while I'm doing it, so much so that I named my company 'Adventures in Light'.
Major companies, printed magazines, online publications, websites and small businesses employ me to create content for them, go on surf trips, capture their products in use, and to communicate the essence of their brand through photographic imagery. Some want the perfect cover shot, while others will request a 'hero' shot, one that speaks louder than words, makes you feel and connect with their brand – these smart businesses place great value on powerful imagery.
These images are used for billboards, window displays, websites, in-store point of sale, promotions, advertising campaigns, feature articles, apps and social media content (SMC). Now, new generations of consumers demand that 'if it's not on social media it didn't happen or it doesn't exist'. Every (progressive) business has a website and/or some presence on social media, nearly every person (besides a few) has a social media account of some kind. Be it Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or a personal blog etc. I work closely with my clients to ensure they have unique high quality content that is brand specific, imagery that it tailored for each application, be it online, print or promotion.
Here's a fun fact. Did you know the average person now checks their phone more than 40 times a day. It's like an addiction for some as they feel they are missing out. It seems like people just want to feel connected and social media is the platform of choice.
Agree or disagree, as business owners, these people are your consumers, so it's time to boost your conversation, increase the connection and start reaping the rewards.
This is where I come in. Social Media Content has become KING. Part of my work is to create this content - this is called social media content creation (SMCC) and it's a paid gig. Without it you (the business owner) have no visual voice to share with your fans, followers and demanding visual consumers. Quality content that’s unique is very different to an iPhone image or a repost from someone else’s visual content.
If you’re passionate about your business/brand/company/product/interest/cause (BBCPIC), you may wish to employ my services as a professional photographer to create unique content for your BBCPIC. It’s my profession, I love capturing moments, creating unique imagery and taking photos, and am open to establishing new creative accounts and developing exciting working relationships.
Let's start a conversation – contact me, tell me about your business/brand/company/product/interest/cause BBCPIC and what visual story you want to tell – give me an insight. It could be an established BBCPIC or a new business. You could have crazy creative ideas and just need to take the first step. Contact me via direct email.
MY TERMS & CONDITIONS
SHARING: The images I share on my social media accounts are to communicate the essence of the Ted Grambeau Photography brand, and I encourage everyone to share them directly from these platforms, in context, with friends, repost and retweet (conditions apply). It goes without saying – that full live tag photo credit @tedgrambeau or @tedgrambeauphotography be given if you are sharing my image. But...
CONDITIONS: But, yes there is a but – this is not an invitation to use and abuse (T&C) - these images are not for you to use for free to promote your business/brand/company/product/interest/cause (BBCPIC). Once you mention your BBCPIC in the caption, or use a BBCPIC #hashtag – this is referred to as promoting your BBCPIC, and is by my definition, a ‘commercial use’ and will incur usage charges.
BAD APPLE: As the ugly side of human nature would have it, there will usually be one rotten apple that spoils it for everyone. Someone who, just because they can, will – and use this as justification to feel like they are winning, getting something for nothing. Appealing as this may sound, using my images without request or agreed payment is not honouring the system and is classed as a rotten thing to do.
REQUEST: If you are interested in one or more of my images in a commercial way (as mentioned above), please contact me via direct email to: firstname.lastname@example.org – simply stating the image request and your intended usage. I'll then advise in return as to it's availability and usage rates applicable for that image and intended use.
BE UNIQUE: Stand out from the rest, don't copy or rely on reposting other peoples stuff for your content. It's easy to spot the industry leaders, the innovators, the ones who stand out from their competitors, as they have and rely on unique content and quality photographic imagery to express the essence of their BBCPIC.
This, and many more photography features are coming your way. So if you've found this information interesting and like my photography then feel free to share this blog with your friends.
